Library at School

James sits at a computer in the school library and checks his emails. He thinks what he should do for the 2 hours before his class. He wants to draw, and he should have a pencil or pen but he left his art-box in his locker while he was in his Print Media studio working. Oh well, he’ll mess around on the school library computer for an hour and a half for fun. He spent a couple of hours altering some N64 game images on Photoshop in his Print Media class for Sculpture 2 so that’s a plus. He came to the library to see if he could print out the rest of his images that he started in the Print Media studio, but the computers in the library don’t have Adobe Photoshop. James decides to finish it off at home, or another day when he comes into the Print Media studio. Hopefully the print cartridges will be refilled. Back to the computer now to play.

Yesterday, James went to his Dad’s Div 1 quarter final match where he watched them take on another Div1 team called Kelevra. James’ Div 2 team had played the same team in their first game of the playoffs. Club Ireland Celtic2 were tied with Kelevra 0-0 in the first half (1 week ago), but then Kelevra scored 2 early goals in the second half. We did have our chances though, where one shot went off the crossbar, and Ryan Halfnights couldn't pot in an easy goal inside the 6. It was hard to come back from this, as Kelevra ended up scoring another three goals in the second half. The final score was 5-1, Kelevra. All in all a good game, but we had no energy in the second half and couldn’t keep up our consistent game-play. James’ dad’s Div1 team called Club Ireland Celtic, scored an early goal within the first 20 minutes of play, a great cross in by Nick, and an excellent finishing header by Matthew Estepho. They also had a penalty shot at the end of the first half when Danny Murphy was pulled down inside the 18, and Eddie Fitch took the shot only for it to be saved by the Kelevra goal-keeper. In the second half, Kelevra ended coming back scoring three goals. It looked as though the Club I defense were faltering, and the man marking was going down a bit. 3-1 was the final score for Kelevra, and a great game was had by all. All too bad, Eddie Fitch couldn’t score that penalty kick, and perhaps everything would have gone up from there for the better.

Today, I have Drawing 2 at 2pm and that’s why I came in early to work on my Print Media assignment due tomorrow. Ultimately, I can’t get it done because the Kwantlen Bookstore is closed due to store inventory. This puts a big gap in my plan for the day. I decided to go work on my Sculpture 2 assignment a bit, but I still would’ve liked to have gotten my Print Media finished, as I also don’t have my assignment done from last week, due to not having paper at the right times, or money.
I plan on handing out resumes in the latter part of the week, as I need a job pretty desperately. I can’t go to school, drive, or live an interesting life without being able to sustain myself in what it is I need to live.
Hopefully, I will land a job soon and I will be able to work throughout the Spring and into the Summer.
